A National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Patty has 16 years of experience working with adults, adolescents and children. With a prior background as an elementary school teacher and specialist working with gifted and talented children, Patty draws from her considerable knowledge when working with families on issues such as assessing and coping with ADD/ADHD, divorce issues, parenting, abuse issues, relationships, boundaries, anger management and general life management. An eclectic therapist with considerable training in a multitude of areas, Patty uses Play Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and Gestalt Therapy to connect with clients and guide them towards their therapeutic objectives.

A Texas State Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Texas Board approved Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), Texas State Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and a Texas Medical Board certified Acudetox Specialist (ADS), Ashley has experience working with adolescents and adults focusing on such topics as, family violence, sexual assault, trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, specific phobias, families in crisis, divorce, grief, and self esteem. Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ashley is working towards her certification. Her approach to most counseling is eclectic, tailoring the techniques based on the client’s individualized needs. Although she mostly uses EMDR as a framework for case conceptualization, she also incorporates brief solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, and motivational interviewing.

A National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Patti has worked with adolescents and adults around addictions, mental illness and the impact on the family. Patti also has experience with adolescents and adults around issues of parenting, anger management, relationships, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, acculturation issues, at-risk youth, overcoming self-destructive behavior, mastering social and emotional intelligence skills, and using hypnosis and mindfulness techniques to improve sports, social and other performance. Tailoring the treatment to the individual, Patti utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eriksonian and other Solution Oriented modalities to help families and individuals find ways to overcome their obstacles, solve specific problems, tap into their inherent potential and succeed towards their goals. Patti works with clients in person and does some limited phone counseling and consultation.
