Throughout the year, we offer groups and classes on various topics. The classes are co-faciliated by a team of therapists from Center for Family Development each bringing their unique skills and approaches to growth and healing. Group work is a powerful way to learn new tools, create accountability and relate to people navigating through similar life experiences.
Whether your goal is weight loss, more energy or improved health, a healthy living approach is vital! Using techniques such as mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy and hypnosis, the group will work towards mastery over the mind-body connection and how to achieve systemic balance and health.
You are not alone! This group is offered for female survivors of sexual abuse. In a safe, confidential environment, women will have the opportunity to confront obstacles to healing, give and receive feedback, create an empowering environment of support, and gain further understanding of the effects of sexual assault. A focus will be on how to use healthy coping skills as well as process current triggers.
Success in achieving your goals depends upon getting past limiting beliefs. Whatever your intention (better relationships, more self-confidence, less anxiety and depression, etc.), this group provides very practical skills for identifying and changing those ?tapes? that sabotage your success and negatively drive your behavior. Proven, effective techniques.
